TTRU is a rumination on the connection between war trauma and postmodern dance. Combining movement, critical theory, and popular music from the 1960s, the dance emerged from a program note which accompanied Yvonne Rainer's seminal Trio A, written shortly after the Tet Offensive one of the bloodiest battles of the Vietnam War. Performed in NYC in 2006 by Rhiannon Fink, Glenn Kessler and Pagan.
